Hostaway vs Uplisting on price
Uplisting publishes its prices for 1 to 20 listings only: $51 a month for one listing (Independent Host) and $200 for 10 (Operator), on its cheapest plan billed monthly, at $150 a night and 60% occupancy. Hostaway publishes none: its pricing page asks how many listings you manage, then for your email, name and phone before it quotes. At 50 listings, neither publishes a price. So only Uplisting can be costed in advance; a Hostaway quote can be checked against these figures.

Hostaway or Uplisting: quick answers
Is Hostaway cheaper than Uplisting?
Published prices can't tell you: Hostaway publishes none and quotes only after you give your email, name and phone. Uplisting publishes its prices for 1 to 20 listings only: $51 a month for one listing (Independent Host) and $200 for 10 (Operator), on its cheapest plan billed monthly, at $150 a night and 60% occupancy. At 50 listings, neither publishes a price. To compare, ask Hostaway for its price at your number of listings, billed monthly and yearly, and set it against Uplisting's price for the same size.
What do Hostaway and Uplisting cost for one listing?
Hostaway: its website doesn't say. When we checked on October 7, 2026, some loads of its pricing page offered bands of “2-14 Listings”, “15-49 Listings” and “50+ Listings” and a link, “Only have 1 listing? Click here for more info.”, to a waitlist page that says “While we're not currently available in your market or for your portfolio size, we're rapidly expanding to serve property managers like you.” Other versions offered bands from “0 - 1” to “200+”, and choosing “0 - 1” led to the same quote form as the other bands. Uplisting: $51 a month (Independent Host), billed monthly. Annual prices are the monthly price less 10%, as Uplisting's FAQ states.
Do Hostaway and Uplisting have a free trial?
Hostaway: neither its pricing page nor its home page mentions one. Uplisting: a 14-day free trial, no credit card needed.
Do Hostaway and Uplisting charge per listing or per booking?
Hostaway: its pricing page shows no prices or fees of any kind, only the quote form. Uplisting: Independent Host (flat monthly), Operator (flat monthly) and Manager charge a monthly fee set by how many listings you have; Pay as you go takes 3% or 1.5% of booking revenue, depending on how many listings you have. Uplisting says “Pay as you go is £0/month plus a commission on each booking — 3% for 1–4 properties, 1.5% for 5–10.”
Does using Hostaway or Uplisting change your Airbnb host fee?
Either one does if you are still on Airbnb's split fee. Of its single fee, Airbnb says “This fee structure is mandatory for most hosts, including … hosts who use property management software, and hosts in countries subject to this fee structure.” Most hosts on it pay 15.5% of the nightly price and their own fees, against 3% on the split fee, which Airbnb is phasing out for all home hosts. One listing at $150 a night and 60% occupancy books $32,850 a year, so at the same prices the single fee takes $4,106 more a year, against $612 a year for Uplisting itself.
